Following the Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (AWS), now the next major tenant at the office project 2nd Central – Office by the Park, is definite. The magistrate department 40 (Social Security Law and Health Care) is going to move in here, together with their customer service department, in February 2014.
“This project is terrific, for major tenants especially”, announces Ernst Kovacs, unit manager of project development (Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic), happily. “Currently, 80% of space is leased out and the construction plan is right on course.” On the part of Raiffeisen evolution, completion is scheduled for September 2013. Subsequently the individual “fit out” of the tenants follows.
Senate Councellor, Mag.a Renate Christ of the MA40, adds: “In the office project 2nd Central we found an object in best location, that is excellently linked to traffic and connected to the infrastructure, and we are really looking forward to moving in at the beginning of the year.” The MA40 has rented 4.400 sq m in total.
The construction work at the business project started at the end of 2011 in Vienna's Leopoldstadt. Besides office space, the building offers retail spaces that are already leased out as well. Here, a Billa store and the traditional Ullmann bakery will open their doors in the fall of 2013. The building was awarded a pre-certificate in silver by the Austrian Society for Sustainable Real Estate Management (ÖGNI).
2nd Central – Office by the Park is located right by the U1 station at Vorgartenstraße, at the former Northern railway station area. Residential and commercial buildings, schools, nurseries as well as various suppliers are located in close proximity. The Rudolf-Bednar-Park nearby invites to linger during lunch break.
